I died last week, but somehow I was still up and walking. And I wasn’t the only one.”

Notes[]

  • This universe’s main point of divergence was the Ender choosing to give up its assigned duty of consuming the souls of the dead. It is revealed that there must always be an entity in Pacific Glade to claim human souls after death, which results in the birth of the Enderling to take its father’s place.
  • The Ender is later recruited by the Chronicler to take on the Sightless in “Blood Moon.”
