The Backwards Woman is an entity of unknown origin who has been seen frequently around the Cerulean Shores Hotel and the surrounding area. She always appears in a dripping blue dress with her back to the viewer. If one approaches her, she moves forward to keep the distance between them constant, even if this means passing through doors or other solid objects. She was presumably killed by Olivia Marconi.

- The Backwards Woman appears to Marconi the same night that she and Ruth Hannigan check into the Cerulean Shores Hotel. She traps the two women in a red lobby full of doors that lead to nightmarish pocket dimensions. Thanks to the help of the Weird Brothers, Marconi and Ruth are able to trap the Backwards Woman in a loop long enough for Marconi to throw her off a ledge. Her presumed death causes the dimensional lobby to dissolve.
